Amotz Asa-El's View from Jerusalem: In election, Israelis said no to socialism

Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel heard a loud message in the country’s Tuesday election, losing nearly a quarter of his electorate. The campaign focused on domestic issues and brought to the fore a centrist newcomer, Yair Lapid. In a likely coalition, Amotz Asa-El argues, the two men will focus on issues including land reform and cheaper real estate.
