Jan 29, 2013 Doug Short  The Latest Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index was released this morning based on data collected through January 17. The 58.6 reading was well off the consensus estimate of 58.6 reported by Briefing.com. Today's number is a stunning decline from the interim high of 73.1 in October.
