Film and Be Filmed

Ever dream of becoming a filmmaker? Think you belong on television? This January the Outside Adventure Film School is teaming up with Outside Television to create a reality TV show in the Colorado backcountry! This is a truly unique opportunity for you to develop your filmmaking skills while appearing in a show about the experience. Over a week’s time, you will shoot and edit your own short film as we hike four miles into the Colorado backcountry to untouched powder and stunning landscapes. Students will receive intensive, hands-on filmmaking instruction while snow camping, skiing, and spending two nights in the infamous Janet’s Cabin. A television crew will be on location throughout the week, documenting the experience of filmmaking, backcountry activities, and you.
