World Fri April 26, 2013 Even if you don't like to drive, it kind of sucks to be a woman in Saudi Arabia.  Females need permission from their guardians in order to travel, study, or work.  They'd probably need it to make a police report too.    So it's big news that the King Khalid Foundation has created this awareness campaign about domestic violence, "The phenomenon of battered women in Saudi Arabia is much greater than is apparent on the surface than expected, is a phenomenon found in the dark".There's a page to report abuse, which is written in Arabic, but you can pop it into Google Translate. The Foundation also announced it's undertaking a study to reduce the incidence of violence and discusses the creation of legal protection for women and children.   saudi arabia domestic violence PSA King Khalid Foundation First Saudi Anti Abuse Ad
