Anyway, I have been lamenting lately about the fact that we can’t buy houses the way we used to, back in 2009. I wanted to see what the inventory of homes was because I hadn’t seen much about inventory lately, just about home prices, although they do work hand in hand. Anyhow, here is the chart from YCharts.com.
The chart is from the time we started buying (June 2009) until recently. As you can see, total inventory collapsed by 50%!
