January F and O expiry starts on upbeat Indices gain over 1%

The Indian equity indices last week ended with sleek gains. Sensex closed at 19444.8 up by 1.03% and Nifty at 5908.35 gained 1%. Trading activity remained volatile through out the week on account of impending fiscal cliff negotiations.
