Swap of late-round picks in 2018 Marshawn Lynch is set to come out of retirement after the Raiders and Seahawks agreed to a trade that allows the running back to play in Oakland, sources confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Lynch and the Raiders have an agreement for a two-year contract in place, according to league sources. (ESPN) FF Today's Take: Lynch will need to a pass a physical today but after months of rumors, it appears Lynch will be a Raider in 2017. Lynch (31) sat out the 2016 season but does have a lot of mileage on the tires and is on the wrong side of 30. While being consistently durable during most of his career, injuries caught up with him in 2015. limiting him to only 7 games. However, he's a good fit for the Raiders offense who lost Latavius Murray in free agency and will likely step into lead-back role. He's an RB2 with RB1 upside in redraft leagues.

As with everything on the site, the blame probably lies at Zach's feet, but since he's the young one, we'll just go ahead and blame Tehol. In our newest episode (it's been a while, we know), Zach, Matt Bowe, and Tehol play the part of GM and take turns selecting players in a mock draft that will probably not even end up being close to what happens when all is said and done. Could be available Week 1 if he keeps his nose clean The NFL notified Martavis Bryant of the Pittsburgh Steelers today that he has been reinstated to the NFL on a conditional basis. Bryant may join the Steelers at the training facility and participate in meetings, conditioning work and similar activities. Once arrangements have been confirmed regarding Bryant's clinical resources in Pittsburgh, he will be permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including practices and games. (Steelers.com) FF Today's Take: Bryant still has some hurdles to jump if he wants to be on the field Week 1. He's been suspended since March of last season for multiple offenses of the leagues substance abuse policy. Bryant has shown to be a big play threat on the field but his off-field issues and risk of being kicked out of the league for another offense will submarine his fantasy stock.

One-year deal, plus one-year option Adrian Peterson told ESPN's Josina Anderson Tuesday morning that he plans to sign with the New Orleans Saints on a two-year deal that is effectively a one-year deal plus a one-year option. (ESPN) FF Today's Take: $3.5 million is guaranteed for 2017. With Tim Hightower now is San Francisco, New Orleans needed to add some depth behind Mark Ingram. Peterson is not expected to take over Ingram's role but simply complement him. At age 31, Peterson played in only three games in 2016 averaging 1.9 yards per carry. However, Ingram injury history does give Peterson some upside if he can flash his old form. He'll be a mid-round selection in redraft leagues this summer.
