SPEEA urges Boeing workers to forgo overtime over holiday

SPEEA negotiations will halt over the Thanksgiving weekend, but that won’t stop the clock or the positioning.
The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace, which represents engineering and technical workers at Boeing, is reminding members that overtime is voluntary during the Thanksgiving weekend on its website.
That means that workers can decline to work overtime as an expression of their dissatisfaction with the company’s contract proposals, without breaking contract rules.…
