Steelers Hand Game to Browns, Somehow Lose By One Score

There isn't much you can say about a seven turnover performance. It was comically bad. None of the running backs could keep their hands on the ball and Charlie Batch showed he didn't have command of his throws. The offense was as bad as it could possibly be, save for a touchdown drive late in the first half.The bright spot in this game was the defense. James Harrison played like James Harrison for the first time in a while. Lawrence Timmons got the Steelers' first pikc-six in two years. The Browns' offense was aided immensely by turnovers in Pittsburgh territory and if not for that, the defense probably would have only given up 10 or so points.Sadly, a good defense can't carry a putrid offense. Charlie Batch was ineffective at best, terrible at worst. The coaching staff didn't seem to trust him to make throws until the Browns took the lead.
