This is usually the slow season for Seamus Golf, but that's just because it's winter. Try using a sand wedge in a snow drift to illustrate the point.
But a sudden dose of national press has put the two-year-old Beaverton company, a manufacturer of wool golf club head covers, into peak season mode.
Seamus was one of two Portland-area golf brands featured in Golf Digest's holiday gift guide, the other being the Mackenzie Golf Bag Co., a Portland-based maker of leather walking bags. Though both companies…
