The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Now Being Filmed In Hawaii

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” aren’t being filmed in the continental United States unlike the first “Hunger Games” film. “Catching Fire” is still in the U.S. but instead, “Catching Fire” is being filmed in the island state of Hawaii. According to Examiner.com, the final arena scenes in the third Quarter Quell will be filmed on the Big Island, as stated in a tweet by Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair). According to Claflin, the cast is now set to travel to both Kauai and Oahu. Earlier news of Hawaii being chosen to be the backdrop of the arena scenes was released in October.
